Ottogi Jinbibimmyeon
As summer approaches, advertisements for cold noodles, such as bibimmyeon and naengmyeon, become increasingly popular in Korea. Ottogi recently launched Jinbimmyeon, which boasts a simple and quick recipe, making it convenient for anyone to prepare. Bibim means mix, myeon means noodle, so Jin bibim myeon is ‘jin’ (brand) + ‘bibim’ (mix) + ‘myeon’ (noodle). Jinbimmyeon is a spicy dish, featuring a flavorful blend of red pepper paste, vinegar, sweetness, and sesame oil. Personally, I enjoy eating this type of meal at least once a week during summer. It is my summer favorite.
It is perfect if you want a quick and easy meal while craving spicy cold noodles.

Bibimmyeon
Here are three popular brands of bibimmyeon that you might want to try:
- Paldo Bibimmyeon: This is a classic and has been on the market for a long time. It consistently holds the number one spot in sales due to its well-balanced flavor and long-standing popularity.

- Ottogi Jinbibimmyeon: Currently in second place, this brand is known for being spicier than the others. Its rich, spicy sauce appeals to those who enjoy a bit more heat in their noodles.

- Nongshim Baehung-dong Bibimmyeon: Ranked third, this bibimmyeon offers a distinct taste that represents the traditional flavors of Baehung-dong.

I recommend trying all three to see which one suits your taste best. You can customize your bibimmyeon with your favorite garnishes, such as sliced or chopped cucumbers, boiled eggs, sliced pear, or seaweed. Tell me which one is your best among those 3 brands and what’s your favorite garnishes? If you can’t fine it near your store, reach us via DM.
