The global phenomenon “Squid Game,” which took the world by storm in 2021, will return for Season 2 at the end of this year. Season 3 is scheduled to be released the following year.
Director Hwang Dong-hyuk of “Squid Game” expressed his excitement in a letter dated the 1st, stating, “I am thrilled to share the release schedule for Season 2 and the news about Season 3.” Season 2 is set to premiere on December 26, with Season 3 scheduled for release in 2025.
Director Hwang Dong-hyuk shared, “Sung Ki-hoon (played by Lee Jung-jae), who sought revenge at the end of Season 1, will return and rejoin the game. I am committed to delivering an outstanding continuation of the story, so please stay tuned with anticipation.” Check below for premier.
